Looking Back at an Incredible Year: What Our 2025–2026 Impact Report Tells Us

When people ask what makes Kainos Microschool different, we often talk about relationships, personalized learning, and our commitment to seeing every student as an individual.

But we also believe in measuring results.

Our 2025–2026 Impact Report tells an exciting story; not just about academic growth, but about students who are discovering confidence, belonging, and a renewed love of learning.

Academic Growth That Matters

Many of our students arrive at Kainos after struggling in traditional educational settings.

At the beginning of the school year:

  • 62% of students were reading one or more years below grade level.

  • 92% of students were one or more years below grade level in math.

By the end of the school year:

  • 46% of students were reading one or more years below grade level.

  • 74% of students were one or more years below grade level in math.

While we still have quite a bit of work to do, these statistics are encouraging and show drastic academic progress.

Students who had previously believed they "just weren't good at school" began making measurable progress through personalized instruction, small-group support, and individualized learning plans.

Growth, not comparison, is our measure of success.

More Than Test Scores

Academic progress is important, but it's only one part of the story.

Parents consistently tell us they see something even more valuable:

  • Children who are excited to go to school.

  • Students whose confidence has been restored.

  • Kids who finally feel understood.

  • Learners who are willing to try difficult things because they know mistakes are part of learning.

These are victories that don't always fit neatly onto a spreadsheet, but they change lives.

A School Built on Relationships

With our intentionally small learning environment, every student is known.

Teachers understand each child's strengths, challenges, interests, and goals.

That relationship-centered approach allows us to provide individualized support while building a school culture where students feel safe to ask questions, take risks, and grow.

Looking Ahead

We're incredibly proud of what our students accomplished during the 2025–2026 school year, but we're even more excited about what's ahead.

Every year, we continue refining our instructional practices, strengthening our programs, and finding new ways to serve students who need something different.

The numbers in our Impact Report tell an encouraging story.

The stories behind those numbers tell an even better one.

At Kainos Microschool, we're not just helping students improve academically. We're helping them rediscover what it feels like to believe in themselves.
