  • Currently, we accept students in grades 1-12.

  • Full Time School Hours:

    Monday-Thursday 8:30 am-2:30 pm
    Friday 8:30 am-Noon

    Ages 7-18 years old

    Students can be dropped off as early as 8 am. 
    Students need to pack a lunch.

    Hybrid Program

    Monday & Tuesday 8:30 am-2:30 pm

    This is a homeschool support program.
    You provide your own curriculum Wednesday - Friday.

  • No. Kainos Microschool is a Christian faith based microschool, but we welcome children from diverse backgrounds and faiths. We will never force a student to participate in spiritual disciplines that make them uncomfortable and we strive to help them find the goodness in everything that is being taught. We encourage students to explore their faith and we strive to provide a safe atmosphere for students to ask questions about their beliefs.

    We do ask that families enrolled in Kainos to acknowledge that we teach from a biblical perspective and agree to respect those teachings.

  • Our classes are multiage classrooms. We learn with and from each other in a family style setting. When necessary, we might place students in small groups based on need or ability for specific activities or lessons.

  • Each student is placed in curriculum at their instructional level. By placing a student at the appropriate instructional level, students are able to progress at their own pace- slowing down and speeding up as needed. Students are not allowed to move to the next lesson without demonstrating mastery of the concept. Teachers act as one-on-one tutors to help remediate as needed.

  • No. Unfortunately, School Choice Voucher regulation would require that we change our approach to education and would not provide the flexibility and personalization that makes us unique. However, we do accept ESA funds and are actively working on SGO funding to help provide scholarship assistance. We can also accept funds from 529 plans that are based in Indiana.

  • Upon enrollment at Kainos, we request a copy of the student's birth certificate (or other legal document that clearly shows the students Date of Birth). This is at the suggestion of the IDOE to help protect children against trafficking.

    We do not require any other type of documentation for enrollment. You will not be required to submit immunization records or proof residency.

    We do ask parents to provide unofficial academic records prior to enrollment. Once a child is enrolled, we will request official academic records from your child's previous school.
