At Kainos, learning goes beyond the classroom through Side Quests is our student interest-based learning experience designed to spark curiosity, creativity, and ownership.
Every nine weeks, students choose a topic, skill, passion, or project they want to explore. Whether it's coding a game, learning photography, studying marine biology, building a business idea, mastering an instrument, or pursuing something entirely unique, students take the lead in designing their learning journey.
Throughout the quarter, students:

Track their progress and reflect on their learning

The journey culminates in our Quarterly Showcase, where students proudly present what they learned, share their process, and demonstrate their final projects with families, peers, and the community.
